Oh, the stories that were told here about so many roads less taken! One Cottager shared about hitching a ride to El Salvador in a medical supply truck, another about running out of gas on the highway en route to breaking the news of his impending divorce. Still another spoke of driving 22 hours without a car radio–and creating by necessity a rap song about God-in-the-passenger seat. Which he sang for us. Every story was its own gem.
Alison’s date was the strong, silent type–who clearly had lost his head to her!
Cell phones were deposited by the front door for safe-keeping for the night.
Storytellers all in a row.
