Peggy Stafford is a playwright whose work has been produced by the Annex Theatre, Bottom’s Dream, Women’s Project and Clubbed Thumb, among others.

Together with Madelyn Kent, Peggy also teaches Sense Writing, a writing technique designed for writers and non-writers alike to “bring blood” to the connections between our senses, imagination and movement.

“My approach to teaching is a lot like how I write plays, ” Peggy says.  “Experimenting, in collaboration, and with room for silence and humor.”

Peggy and Madelyn have taught several evening and weekend Sense Writing workshops at The Brooklyn Cottage.
