Marianne Gunther Art Psychotherapist

Marianne Gunter is a licensed creative art psychotherapist and founder of Listening Art New York–which she created as an oasis for women, men and children to reflect and rediscover the joy of symbolic self-expression.

Marianne has over twenty years of service to children, adolescents and their families as they face such challenging and often traumatic life events as domestic violence, unemployment, divorce, chronic mental and physical disabilities, and the loss of a loved one. Working in therapeutic alliance, she helps to integrate and heal what has become painful and out of balance.

At The Brooklyn Cottage, Marianne will lead a Meditative Drawing workshop in January 2014.
