Lynne Bamat Mijangos brings a lifelong love of literature, film, and visual arts as well as her experiences as nurse, social worker, writer, and grandmother to the emerging field of narrative health. A recent graduate of Columbia University’s Master Program in Narrative Medicine and a co-founder of Narrative Medicine Partners, she uses slow looking, close reading, and reflective writing to foster dialogue and discovery.
At The Brooklyn Cottage, Lynne will be facilitating–with Nina Lorez Collins–a Narrative Medicine workshop in January 2014.
