“I consider my mission to be one of service, ” says Christopher Lowman, “and do not concern myself with name, fame or profit.” He graduated from New York University with a degree in Philosophy, and shortly after abandoned any notions of a conventional career path to dedicate himself to a life of service. Christopher has since volunteered in the slums of Kenya, a leprosy community in India, and school in Rwanda (among other places), focusing on projects that nurture youth leadership and sustainability. A global nomad, he is 100% financially sustained through the generosity of strangers and friends alike.
Christopher shared his service journey with The Brooklyn Cottage in January 2012.
