Amelia Perkins convenes workshops on transformative growth processes and offers one-on-one sessions designed to—as she describes it—“unveil the beauty of your unique soul.” A graduate of New York University and Harvard Divinity School, Amelia has variously produced for WNYC Radio’s The Leonard Lopate Show, curated art shows for Buddhist nuns, and helped organize international gatherings for The Parliament of the World’s Religions. She is a frequent and much-loved storyteller at The Brooklyn Cottage, and is now knee-deep in the creation of Dating God, a one-woman-show about her eighteen months spent living in a convent in Greece. At The Brooklyn Cottage, Amelia has led the workshops Come Home to the Body and Detours & Destinations. In November 2013, she’ll lead the two-part inquiry Just Ask.
