A Prospect Heights collective for creative experiments,
renewal, stillness and celebration. Welcome home.
Be. Play. Make. Offer. Join us.
You are cloud, sea, forgetting;
you are also what you lost in a moment—
we are all those who have left.
The reflection of our face in the mirror
changes each instant
and every day has its own labyrinth.
The cloud vanishing in the sunset is our image;
endlessly, a rose becomes another rose.
–Jorge Luis Borges
Whether it’s something we asked for or not, the experience of divorce often represents a kind of initiation: a marked departure from a map that once felt clearly-marked into a forest that can be wild and unruly and breathtaking.
How we choose to enter the forest, and be in it, says a lot about the shape we’ll find ourselves in when we make our way out of it.
This Sunday afternoon workshop—available monthly and an extension of Grief & Gratitude gatherings at Untied.net–is available to any separated or divorced/divorcing person, be you newly that way or not. You’ll be offered a further opportunity to “go deep” through new writing experiments, guided rituals, poetry, noble sharing, and bearing witness. Mulled cider, tea, and snacks will on hand, as will an intimate group of eclectic others who, like you, are making their way forward and choosing to bring their whole hearts with them as they do so.
Led by Jenny Douglas.
