How we’d like to die represents the most important and costly conversation America isn’t having.

So let’s begin–and live more fully for having done so. Join a burgeoning nationwide effort–and now, nine other Brooklyn Cottagers–for a potluck dinner and a lively-but-gentle end-of-life exploration. There’ll be conversational prompts and a modest homework assignment in advance of our evening, to ensure an inquiry that is focused and illuminating for all.

To borrow from T.S. Eliot, at the completion of our meal, “we’ll have arrived where we started and know the place for the first time.”

 Guests are asked to bring a dish to share.
